San Xavier Mission Field Trip

Yesterday, our class went on a field trip to San Xavier Mission. We went to San Xavier Mission to look at the paintings and the sculpture. Then we did a sketch of the mission. After that we went in the church and looked at the paintings and sculpture. Then our class went into the museum. There was a big bible in the museum and more cool stuff in there. Then our class climbed up the hill. There was a cross on top of the hill for people to pray.

Storyteller Dolls

For the last couple of weeks our class has been working on what is called ''Storyteller dolls''. Storyteller dolls are dolls representing Native American cultures. The Storyteller dolls are either made out of clay or stone. Storyteller dolls could either be an animal or a human. Most of the Storyteller dolls have babies conected to them so they can tell stories about their culture. We had a blast making our Storyteller dolls!
