The Lightning Thief

The Lightning Thief is a story about a teenager named Percy Jackson. He finds out that he is a demigod, half human - half Greek god, but he doesn't believe in gods. There are centaurs and a satyrs. The centaur is half man and half horse. The satyr is half man and half goat. The story is mostly about Percy Jackon finding out who he really is while monsters and other enemies are trying to kill him. Percy is protected by his friend Grover,a satyr, and has been watched by The Kindly Ones since preschool. He goes to Camp Half-Blood where he learns that his teacher was really Chiron, a centaur, and he also learns more about himself.If you want to know what happens in the rest of the story - read the book!
