Martin Luther King Birthday!!!

Dr. Martin Luther King was born on January 15, 1929. In 1986 people began observing Kings birthday as a national holiday on the third Monday in January. He thought that people of all races should live together peacefully. In his most famous speech Dr. King said,"I Have a Dream." He did the speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. There was about 250,000 people at that speech. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. He was born in Atlanta, Goergia. He got shot on the balcony of Tennessee.
