Very Busy Day

Yesterday, in the back of the school we saw a Ringtail in our tree.

Today in class we met a teacher from China. She showed us her class blog and we showed her ours. http://www.cjedu.cn/Her school has over 7,000 students and they live there during the week. There were amazing pictures of the student performances.Unfortunately, the website was in Chinese but we were able to translate with Google Translator.Plus we might have a pen pal class in China.

In computers we had to get our own Spanish misson and get information and write about it and show pictures. We intend to make a Google map of El Camino Real.

In math we learned Expanded Notation and scientific notation so we can write large numbers using powers of 10.

We also watched a video from Punxsutawny about Groundhog Day and Punxsutawny Phil.Phil predicted six more weeks of winter. We'll see if he is correct.
